Revlon Colorstay Foundation

Ok so I have been using this foundation for over 3 yrs now. I always  go back to it, even if i switch foundations for a different one. What I have noticed with it is this. 1 ) it is about $10-$12 depending on where you buy it. I normally buy it from target. 2) it has a medium coverage which I like. Since I have old acne scars to cover. 3) you have to apply it with a makeup sponge or fingers to get the best coverage. I haven't used a makeup brush yet with it. I always have to apply a facial lotion prior to foundation application because it tends to dry very very fast. So I need the lotion on my face to make application easier and so it doesn't dry so fast.
I use #340 early tan, for combination skin tone.
I used the revlon colorstay #340 here , and I also used my happy glow bronzer on top of it :)
I bought the bronzer one. They have a light bronzer and normal version. I got the normal one since it was darker. It adds a pretty shimmer but nothing over powering as you can see in my pic. However it wont make it look like you have a deep dark tan. For me it wasn't the case anyway. But I love it.

I also used the Benifits high beam on my cheek bones. I really LOVE this stuff :)

Im a mom of 2 wonderful kids. Im a full time mommy, full time wife. I keep things very simple when I dont have any "real" plans. If im not going out with my husband for dinner, or a date night with him or friends, I dont do much to my hair or outfit. I live in sweats, yoga pants, t-shirts, hoodies. I dress up for the nights out of course :) but when taking care of a 1 yr old who spills everything and when making breakfast, lunch, dinner, and doing gardening I just perfer to be dressed down. However my makeup always is done nice and pretty! Im a girly girl so its the one thing I do everyday.
Here is my basic look. Pulled back hair, pretty makeup :)

Tanning

So I know I have a few of these blogs out there.. but here I go!

I bought the sun labs tanning lotion. Both times I have put it on it has not been a smooth application! First time the gloves I bought just made the application really hard to do. So I bought different gloves and it was just making it look really streaky. So I took off the gloves and used my hands. I washed my hands every time I would switch to a different part of my body to apply the lotion. Im hoping my hands dont become orange lol

To make matters worse I didn't realize i had burned my back the last time tanning in the salon and it peeled. So when I had my husband applyed the lotion there is a huge spot where I had peeled.. ekkkk!

I have a bad feeling that Im going to be streaky with all by bad luck on tanning tonight.

here is what i bought. I must say the smell of the lotion does smell good. Like a cherry almond like the jergens lotion. I like that it has built in color so you can see where the lotion went on. However Im not sure im going to keep using the lotion. They make a spray which i think might be easier to use..  any suggestions on how to make the lotion application easier?

There not the most comfy due to the back of the shoe were the zipper is on it, but there super cute! The dress I got in a size med and fits awesome especially on the chest. Super soft to! The dress was $20.00 and the shoes were $38 and $10 due to the sale they have going on right now :)

Summer

So of course I wanted to try going back to a blonde hair color. Well it just didnt work out so well. I did the blonde color for about 2 months and now im in a brown shade. Which suits me well. It helps to make my blue eyes pop a bit more to :)
So here I am now. With my brown shade.
Now I just need to get my tan on LOL
