Ysl Touche Eclat Neutralizer

Hi ladies! I got the chance to try a new product from YSL. I love pretty much anything that ysl makes, Colors are pretty and packaging is always so nice.

So influenster sent me the Touche Eclat neutralizer in the color bisque. I did receive this for testing and review purposes.

I tried it under my eyes to help with some darkness.
Then I applied my foundation over it, and just did not see a huge difference at all.
Not sure if I applied it wrong or not, but it just did not make a huge difference in how my under eyes looked.
I was looking for a very well rested looked and to have the under eye be nice and bright. But the product did not do much for me.

However I will say the product went on well, blended out great and it was very easy to use.

YSL Touche Eclat Review

Well it is that time again :) to let you know about this amazing product I received from influenster! I did get this product in return for a review. But as you know I give it to you straight and here it is.

I got both the balm and the primer. For me both products work well as a primer. I don't get really oily skin so using the balm as a blotting powder did not get used that way. I liked to use it as a primer or to refresh under my eyes as the day went on.
Since my under eyes tend to show creasesing very easy. I find that this helps to just freshen it up.

I have to say I love love the primer. It is so pretty and smells so good. I feel like im giving myself an at home spa treatment lol. It has these tiny gold flecks in in. To give your skin that luminous look. But not an oily look. It set my makeup all day and held my makeup in place.

You can see the tiny gold flecks in this primer. It also has this very silky texture.
The balm feels like a primer on the skin and sets very fast, just like a powder would or a fast drying primer. Plus how gorgeous is this pink packaging! like O.M.G.

If you get the chance to pick up these pretties grab them! a must have forsure!

Ysl faux cils mascara

I was lucky enough to have Influenster send this mascara out to me! I love Ysl products, so when I got this, I was beyond thrilled.
I was not sure how I would like this mascara but let me tell you, the packaging is freaking gorgeous and the way it coats my lashes is amazing. They are black and full and have great length. What more can you can for in a mascara.

I also want to point out that it did not flake off at all. It stayed all day and looked great all day long.

  • This mascara is loaded with B5 Vitamins so even with 2-3 coats eyelashes do not look clumpy.
  • The formula lasted all day for me without getting raccoon eyes.

Here is a before and after

Influenster did send this to me for testing/review purpose. My opinion is of my own :) and I love it.

Subscription Box Services

I wanted to make a blog post since I get a lot of subscription boxes per month.  I also do get some that come during the Spring, summer, fall and winter. I thought I would give you my thoughts on each one, and you can decide if any of these are for you,
I do get a lot of questions about what services I like and what I think are a great deal. So here is my run down on them :)
Links to subscribe will be right below each post.

Join Ipsy! $10.00 a month. Awesome products. You can't go wrong with the price. You do get a mix of makeup, hair, and skincare. You do take a quiz but I have found that you don't always get the colors you want. However I do like Ipsy. Some months are great and some are ehhh. Overall a great deal and I have had it for 2-3 yrs now.

Want to try makeup to jewelry to intimates? then check out wantable! This service is more expensive at $36.00 a month. However I think its more custom. You do get the colors you request and the products. The intimate box has 4 pieces each month for $36.00. You pick the stuff you like, and they send you a box of goodies. There is a jewelry box for $36.00 as well I believe. I do not have that one, but I have seen cute stuff in those boxes. PLUS if you do not like a box, send the whole thing back for a refund. You can't take tags off, or use the products if you want to return them.

Boxy Charm is $21.00 per month. I LOVVVEEEE this box. No quiz. But I have liked every box I have gotten over the last 1-2 yrs that I have received it. All full size products! Can't say enough good things about this box.

Clear Proof Acne System from Mary Kay

I received the clear proof system from Influenster for a review. Im so happy that I did.

I have been using this now for about 3 weeks. Ever since I started it my skin has gotten better. I was breaking out pretty bad, then in 1 week things started to clear up! Which I was super happy about.
I was worried it would dry my skin out but it did not. It left my skin feeling clean and felt great.

This is a 4 step process.

  • Gel cleanser
  • Toner
  • Moisturize
  • Treatment

All of the products have salicylic acid acid and the treatment has the benzyl peroxide.
I applied all the products morning and night. I did not have to use the treatment with the benzyl peroxide since I finally stopped breaking out! Which is pretty awesome! So it worked great for me. I would buy this with my own money to keep seeing the current results.

Here is some info I took from the website, so you can see all the details. The set that I got sent does retail for $45 and they do have a small set for $20. I think both are a great deal.

With the Clear Proof® Acne System, you get an effective regimen clinically shown to provide clearer skin in just 7 days.* The four-product set:
  • Clears up blemishes without irritation and helps maintain a clear complexion.
  • Unclogs pores, removes excess oil and leaves skin feeling healthier.
  • Fades the look of lingering acne spots.
  • Attacks multiple factors that can contribute to acne breakouts.
The value-priced set includes:
  • Clear Proof® Clarifying Cleansing Gel,** 4.5 oz.
  • Clear Proof® Blemish Control Toner,** 5 fl. oz.
  • Clear Proof® Acne Treatment Gel,** 1 oz.
  • Clear Proof® Oil-Free Moisturizer for Acne-Prone Skin, 3 fl. oz.

Lorac mega pro

I ordered this baby as soon as it came out. The lorac site was crashing for hours when it finally launched. I sat in checkout for prob 20 mintues. Then finally it went through.

When it arrived from ups I was so excited. I ripped into the box and took this beauty out. I can tell you the price is well worth it.
The colors are sooo creamy and sooo pigmented. Perfect amount of matte and shimmer shades. Great shade selection as well.

Just a few shades swatched. Im in love with this palette.

The eos is not super moisturizing :( smells ok.

The body shop balm is moisturizing. It does smell perfumy.

The bare minerals gloss is super pretty and not sticky.

The tarte palette is gorgeous! So worth it.
