Ok so I have been using this foundation for over 3 yrs now. I always go back to it, even if i switch foundations for a different one. What I have noticed with it is this. 1 ) it is about $10-$12 depending on where you buy it. I normally buy it from target. 2) it has a medium coverage which I like. Since I have old acne scars to cover. 3) you have to apply it with a makeup sponge or fingers to get the best coverage. I haven't used a makeup brush yet with it. I always have to apply a facial lotion prior to foundation application because it tends to dry very very fast. So I need the lotion on my face to make application easier and so it doesn't dry so fast.
I use #340 early tan, for combination skin tone.
I used the revlon colorstay #340 here , and I also used my happy glow bronzer on top of it :)
I bought the bronzer one. They have a light bronzer and normal version. I got the normal one since it was darker. It adds a pretty shimmer but nothing over powering as you can see in my pic. However it wont make it look like you have a deep dark tan. For me it wasn't the case anyway. But I love it.
I also used the Benifits high beam on my cheek bones. I really LOVE this stuff :)
I just started using colorstay & really do like it. Photoready is nice also.
ReplyDeleteIt always has worked pretty well for me :) I tried the photoready and it seem to make my face feel oily, but I have combination skin so I think that's why.. I cant remember. I might have to give it another try though :)
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna give this a go after reading this to be honest. I'm happy with my current foundation, but there's room for improvement and this could be it. I must have 20 foundations yet I'm still looking! Thanks for the review!
ReplyDeleteawesome :) yeah just use a facial moisturizer before you put the foundation on. Or a good face primer.
